What is a smash burger?
A smash burger starts as a ball of fresh ground beef pressed flat onto a very hot griddle. Smashing it thin gives the patty more surface area, which browns into a crisp, savory crust. Stack two or three, add cheese while they’re hot, and you get a burger that’s crunchy at the edges and juicy in the middle.
How we do it
Every Bun ’N’ Done burger is smashed to order. The Son of a Bun keeps it classic with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles and house sauce. Like the flavor but not the bun? Our tacos put the same patties and toppings in a taco, and Load ’Em Up piles it all over crispy fries.
